Our Pastor is Kyle Sheeley.
Pastor Kyle Sheeley was born in Michigan to Darrell and Marcia Sheeley. His father, Darrell Sheeley, served as a pastor in Nebraska for six years before relocating to Florida, where he became the long-time pastor of Bay Lake Missionary Baptist Church, a position he has held for over 25 years.
Kyle's spiritual journey began in earnest at a men's meeting in 2010, when he was saved and gave his life to Christ. This pivotal moment led him to deeper involvement in ministry, and he soon felt a strong call to serve in various church roles.
Kyle met his wife, Mary, in 2006 at church camp, and their shared faith grew into a loving relationship. They were married in August 2008, and shortly after, their family began to grow. They welcomed their son, Sean, on December 24th, 2010.
In his early ministry career, Pastor Kyle served as a youth pastor at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Wildwood, Florida. His passion for nurturing the next generation of believers shone brightly in this role, and he continued to serve in the church community with dedication. After several years, Kyle transitioned into the role of music minister at a church in Silver Springs, Florida, where he served for two years, leading worship and fostering a deeper sense of connection within the congregation.
In 2016, Kyle was called to serve as the pastor of First Baptist Church of Indian River City in Titusville, Florida. He poured his heart into shepherding the congregation and continued to grow in his calling. Then, in 2019, God called him to Liberty Baptist Church, where he currently serves as pastor.
Throughout his ministry, Pastor Kyle Sheeley has had a deep commitment to serving the Lord, his family, and his church. With a heart for worship and outreach, he continues to lead with faith, humility, and passion, seeking to inspire and uplift those around him in their walk with Christ.
